Affordability with Profit! - The Ford lesson.

It is all about trade off.

Startups... Nay... Any modern business has to find its place amidst this tradeoff. Especially those who are targeting bulk clients. The new product or service must be affordable to the client and yet provide profit to the venture itself.

That was the prime business idea of Ford. They found a way (pipelining) to industrialize the way cars were manufactured so that they could be manufactured in an affordable way bringing the costs down.

And this is beneficial, not only to the business, but to the client world as well. And also to the intellectual world, cause only then we get to see some incredible idea taking shape which no one had visioned before.

Every time a new venture succeeds, it also opens frontier for further new developments.
